One of my greatest pleasures has been to share my music with passengers aboard the sailing vessels I've had the privilege of working with over the years. These include the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater on the Hudson and in Long Island Sound; the bark Elissa in Galveston, TX; the Mystic Whaler in local waters out of her home port in New London, CT and in the Chesapeake; the schooner Appledore in her winter quarters of Key West, FL; and the schooner J & E Riggin in Maine's Penobscot Bay.

I wanted to let you know how much my sister Marilyn & I enjoyed your music on the Yorktown Mystic Whaler sail. We listened to your tapes on our drive home through the colorful mountains of West Virginia. She loaned me your tapes and I've been listening to them on my drive to work every day. I've learned most of the words and I just returned the tapes to her yesterday. I wish I would have known the words before the sail. It would have made singing along that much better. Your songs express so strongly the need to protect the earth. And having met and conversed with you on the Whaler, puts such a personal touch to your music. Thanks for spreading your gift.
